Commander’s Corner:
Spring is almost here.
We’ve had over one foot of rain at our house and the
occasional warm, sunny day has been most welcome.
The flowers are starting to bloom already.
I love spring!
Our interviews of Boy’s State, Girl’s State,
and Youth Environmental Leadership Conference program
candidates are almost complete.
George
Miller, Jeff Harris, and I are pleased to do the
interviewing.
The money and forms will go out in March (and later for Boys
State). It
gives us a chance to see some of the terrific students we
have here in the Fullerton JUHS District.
We’ll see them at the September meeting like always.
Thank you to the
Commander’s Club
for sponsoring these programs for Fullerton students.
It’s not too early to start thinking about serving in
the Post this next election year or moving to another
position. If
you are interested, please talk to
Ed Paul or one
of the committee members during the next couple of months.
Also, as the weather gets better, we’ll start
thinking about a picnic again.
We had a lot of fun last time.
Thanks go to
Don Dutton for his great work with our special
activities. We
really appreciate it Don.
Thanks go to
Ed Paul as well.
He has penned several news releases for us and the
great pictures come from
Mike Box.
Thanks to all the officers for your involvement.
Memorial Day activities are right around the corner.
Put it on your calendar.
Ed has scheduled the top Marine at Camp Pendleton as
the speaker.
Thanks go out this month also to
Jim Howland, who
is a blessing to us all, but especially to those who are
under the weather.
Upcoming Events:
The Post meetings are always on the second Tuesday of
the month. The
officer meeting is the Wednesday prior to the meeting.
The next few monthly meetings are:
April 13, May 11, June 8.
Please mark your calendars.

library, all of our newsletters and meeting and event
